Act Kids Theatre - AKT
Hours: Saturdays 10.30am - 3.30pm Term times (12 week terms 3 terms a year)
Pay: £25 per hour (self employed)
Location: ACT Brighton 8-10 Rock Place, Brighton.

Purpose of Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and teaching AKT classes as well as designing the themes and lesson plans for each term in consultation with the Principal and Head of Acting. This role involves working with young performers aged 8-19 and coordinating performances for end of term shows. We are seeking an individual who can bring a balance of fun, energy and professionalism to the role. Appointment is subject to the applicant holding or obtaining an Enhanced DBS.
Our ideal candidate will be:
Approachable, enthusiastic and professional. Highly motivated, confident, kind and patient. They will be comfortable dealing with members of the public and have a passion for teaching acting and theatre to children and young people. They will have previous experience of working with young people and must have a background in drama. References required.
